The recipes of potatoes will be received from
September 21, 2007 until April 15, 2008 in the Faculty of Sciences
of the Communication Tourism and Psychology of the University
of San Martin of Porres: Av. Tomás Marsano 242 Surquillo
– Peru, and e-mail: sarabeatriz@telefonica.net.pe
Participation
• They will be able to participate professionals
of the kitchen, students and fans of gastronomy, as well as
associations, restaurants, magazines and organizations dedicated
to the kitchen. The recipes will be able to send in Spanish,
English or French.
• The categories in which they will be
able to participate are: Professional, Students, Fans to the
kitchen; Restaurants; Schools, Associations, Organizations and
Magazines dedicated to the kitchen.
• In each one of these categories will
be rewarded: Better Recipe of Potatoes of the World; Honorable
Mentions Better Recipes of Potatoes of the World.
• One recipe by participant will be admitted.
• In the case of restaurants, schools,
associations, organizations and magazines will be admitted two
prescriptions.
• In the qualification the following
criteria will keep in mind: Gastronomic value; Originality of
the recipes; Preponderance of the potatoes as main element of
the recipe; Use of varieties of potatoes; New forms of consumption
of potatoes; recipes that increase the use of the potatoes;
New methods and techniques in their preparation.
Registration
• The participants will send its personal
data consigning the category in which they compete, as well
as a list of credits with the following information:
• Name of the recipe
• Ingredients and quantities of the recipe
• Process of preparation indicating:
technical, point of cooking, approximate time, difficulty of
its elaboration, and details of its presentation.
Awards
The jury will bring to light the winning recipes
May 15, 2008.
The prizes will be delivered in a supper the
month of September, 2008. As well as a book with all the recipes
that occupy the first place, and Honorable Mentions.
Acceptance of the Bases
The participation in the Contest implies the
acceptance of the Bases, and any doubt or interpretation will
be resolved by the Jury.
The participants authorize the Faculty of Sciences of the Communication,
Tourism and Psychology of the University of San Martin of Porres
to publish and to diffuse the winning recipes in a book.
